Important: You must register your machine within 30 days of purchase to activate your extended warranty.

Warranty Duration by Model

Your Sodhak machine is guaranteed against original defects in materials and workmanship for a period of time specific to your model group, starting from the date of purchase.

  • 2-Year Limited Warranty: Sodhak Base, Sodhak Lite, Sodhak Heat Base, Sodhak Heat Lite, Sodhak Warm.
  • 5-Year Limited Warranty: Sodhak Pro Max, Sodhak Heat Pro Max, Sodhak Enterprise 1000.

Please retain your proof of purchase (digital invoice or receipt). If you do not have your proof of purchase, your warranty will start 90 days after the date of manufacture, according to Sodhak's internal records.

What is Covered

If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, Sodhak will, at its option, either:

  1. Repair the Sodhak machine at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts.
  2. Exchange the Sodhak machine with a new, refurbished, or upgraded model of equivalent value.
  3. Cover all bi-directional shipping and handling costs for the repair/replacement across all serviceable PIN codes in India.

Specifically, the warranty covers the Nidec DC brushless motor, the logic board (PCB), the sensor array (PM2.5 laser sensors, VOC sensors), and the LED display interfaces.

What is NOT Covered

Sodhak builds rugged machines for the Indian environment, but there are limits to our coverage. The warranty does not cover:

  • Consumable filters: The H13/H14 HEPA filters and granular activated carbon filters require periodic replacement. Normal degradation of these filters is strictly excluded.
  • Accidental damage: Damage caused by drops, impacts, spills, floods, or fire.
  • Improper maintenance: Blockages or motor burnout caused by failing to replace heavily choked filters, or operating the machine with missing filters.
  • Unauthorized repair: Modifications, dismantling, or repairs carried out by parties other than authorized Sodhak service agents.
  • Commercial use: Using a non-commercial machine (Base, Lite, Pro Max) in highly demanding commercial environments (like industrial kitchens or construction zones). The Sodhak Enterprise 1000 is the only model officially warrantied for commercial deployment.

How to Claim Your Warranty

If you believe your machine is defective, please follow these steps:

  1. Run a diagnostic check via the Sodhak App (if connected) or follow the manual troubleshooting guide in your user manual.
  2. If the issue persists, visit our Order Status & Returns portal or contact our dedicated support line via Contact Us.
  3. Provide your machine's unique Serial Number (found on the underside of the base) and your order ID.

Transferability

The Sodhak Limited Warranty is fully transferable with the machine, provided the current owner can produce the original proof of purchase and the machine was registered by the original owner.
