The Indian Air Crisis
We built Sodhak out of a deep frustration. Every winter, as the AQI across Northern India crosses the 500 mark, millions are forced to breathe toxic, hazardous air. We found that the market was bifurcated:
On one side, cheap purifiers that barely moved air and used substandard filters. On the other side, imported luxury brands charging upwards of ₹40,000 for standard HEPA technology.
We realized India didn't need a fancier air purifier. It needed a more honest one.
Our Impact
Engineering the Impossible
We partnered directly with Nidec in Japan to source ultra-quiet, high-torque DC brushless motors. We bypassed standard H13 filters and went straight to Medical-Grade H14, ensuring 99.995% particle capture.
By stripping away unnecessary gimmicks like Bluetooth speakers and proprietary apps, and focusing purely on massive airflow and extreme filtration, we created a flagship killer.
The Sodhak Pro Max outperforms machines triple its price. It is our love letter to Indian lungs.
The Journey
2021: The Breaking Point
During the worst smog season in Delhi's history, the founding team prototyped the first Sodhak fan using off-the-shelf industrial H14 filters and raw centrifugal fans in a garage in Okhla.
2022: Global Sourcing
We rejected 14 different motor prototypes before finally partnering securely with a tier-1 Japanese motor manufacturer for whisper-quiet thrust.
2023: Sodhak Base Launches
The original Sodhak Base goes viral in the NCR region, selling out its entire 3-month production allocation within the first 72 hours of going live.
2024: The Pro Max & Beyond
We launched our commercial-grade enterprise line and the dual-intake Pro Max, bringing hospital-grade air to massive living rooms and schools across 30+ Indian cities.
